Preset Banks Setout

How are you guys laying out your presets within the banks in your AF2? I've got a few presets scattered throughout the factory presets, but I've seen some people have take the factory ones out and leave many presets blank. What do you guys have in each bank (A,B,C)?

Avenged Sevenfold - Nightmare

My guitar cover of Nightmare. Done with my Mark II and my EBMM JP15. Tone is actually the Megadeth Countdown to Extinction tonematch preset with some delay added for the leads.

FRFR Cab Question

I've recently got a Matrix FR10p and with my tone match presets it sounds quite boxy unlike my studio monitors. I'm new to FRFR but I thought the sound would have been almost identical to my studio monitors with it being flat and all. My question is for anyone else with a FRFR cab or monitor...

Amp into Passive FRFR using Axe FX Cabs?

I recently acquired my matrix FR10p and had an idea, but not sure if it would work or be safe. Using a tube amp into the passive frfr cab, but using the axe fx in the fx loop to use the cab simulation? My thoughts are that the amp powers the frfr cab like normal and that with the axe being in...

Matrix FR Passive Series

Anyone tested out Matrix's FR10p or FR12p? Specs for both look to be the same except for the obvious 10" and 12" speakers and the height as a result. So I'd imagine the 10 would have the same volume as the 12? I'd love to hear if anyone has one or a comparison between them.

Axe into DAW

For those that use the Axe as an audio interface, how do you guys run it into your DAW? I use Protools and have been using the FAS USB Audio ASIO Driver, but today it just doesn't want to work after I got a new cooling pad for my laptop (usb powered). It must be a driver thing as that's all...

What do people do with firmware updates?

Obviously you would update the firmware through fractal bot, but what does everyone do with presets? Do people update and that's it, or how do you go about updating factory presets but keeping your own presets? I've usually only updated it with fractal bot so I'd like to hear what everyone...

Iron Maiden Presets

Does anyone have any decent Iron Maiden presets for the 80s era albums? I saw someone had a powerslave lead tone, but it was never posted. MarkDay put a cool one for Wasted Years which is good for the rhythm tone of Somewhere In Time. But thats about it. Thanks!

Piezo into the Axe

For people with a piezo pickup, more specifically those with EBMM JP models, how do you process the piezo to make it sound more full and deeper? Has anyone tried running anything of the Fishman Aura series into the axe?

Using a real amp in the signal chain

Power Conditioner On/Off Master Switch

I've been thinking about using a power conditioner as a master power on/off switch for my rack where my axe fx 2 and wireless sit. My question is would my axe fx get damaged (even over time) if I was to keep the axe fx switch on and turn it on/off through the power conditioner?
