Atomic CLR Neo with Axe-Fx 3?

Hi - worked out it was to do with the -4, +10 settings on the Axe. All fine now running it at +10 and very loud. Strange as with the DXR12 I had it ran fine at -4 output but the CLR worked with the hotter signal.

Anyone running the 3 with the CLR. I had a CLR previously with the Ax2 and it was loud. Sold it but managed to get another Neo one, now with the Ax3 but the volume is disapointing. My DXR12 is significantly louder. Not sure if the CLR is a dud or I am doing something wrong - seems odd given the...

IR Sample rates

Hi Is there a standard format for Axe IR sample rates. Downloaded a few packs and have then in 44, 48hz, 200ms & 500ms etc ? I get the higher the sample rate etc the larger the file and presumably the more detailed the IR is but whether this is something anyone can really hear is questionable...

Which amp sealed the deal for you?

Ac20 with gain low around 1-2 sounds amazing for cleans. The new afs models are great rock amps, up there with Friedman HB and HBE.

Thanks for the responses. The CLR is fine and I do get am amazing clean sound using the vibro amp but stuff that's sounds great at bedroom level cranked up loud becomes to toppy and lacks the impact that you get with a Marshall through a real Cab. Similar pron with matrix gt1000 into the cab but...

Ill double check but 99% sure they are on. The clean presets are pretty ok but the heavy distorted ones are just lacking that "mojo" that i get from the valve head into a 2 or 4x12. Turned up resonance on speakers settings on amp which helps with the bottom end. As i mentioned would be helpful...

Try putting an esoteric acb pedal in front of the clean breakup and reduce gain on amp to 6. Great blues srv/mayer tone. Drive on pedal set to 0.16 and inc reverb to 25%
