How many of you are actually using the Axe as your main gig rig.

Update: sold ultra Now have axe-fx II. just did a solo act tonight with the built in looper to help. Looper is awesome but not being able to switch patches and being 60 seconds will force me to keep boss looper for now. I use it in 2 bands and also two church bands. I haven't found much...

Axe-Fx II Firmware Version 4.01 Up

Just upgraded from Ultra and had first show... wow I was an Ultra user for the past 13 months or so, and I just got my Axe-Fx II. I had 2 days to program it for a New Year's show, and wow! I don't know how firmware 3 sounded, but w/ 4.01 it sounded amazing! My guitars have never sounded so...

How many of you are actually using the Axe as your main gig rig.

I've had mine 9 mo... originally only used it for worship band gigs going direct... now i use it for everything: cover band, worship bands, jazz groups. it took a while for me to get comfortable with it, but now that i am, i've sold most of my gear and will likely sell another $2000 worth...

Not sure how many banjo players here in the forums, but I was at a Bela Fleck concert tonight and sure enough, he was using an Axe-Fx.....!!! I'm not sure why he's not yet on the artist page. :-) 11 Grammys...... :-) Woot! That was sure cool to see..... he made some pretty amazing...

GR-55 Guitar Modeling + Axe FX Amp Modeling & Effects = Perfect Combination?

Does the Axe replicate warm tube sound?

since I've spent most of my forum time ranting about the axe-edit software and it's limitations and bugs, i think I should say something nice for once: YES, Lee2216: The axe-fx is the real frickin' deal. I have $$$$ worth of tube gear, pedals, etc..... I don't use them at all anymore...
