Wish Global Blocks on FM3 Still Wishful Thinking?

Do you have proof of CPU usage using a lot? I see no reason why it would use any, or if it did very minimal. Now memory to store the global blocks is a different thing.

NAMM 2022 meetup?

Not sure if badges will be for sale again. Think that was a change to make money due to low attendance and lack of exhibitors. I did not go this year but saw videos of the show floor and wow, just looked empty, not like I know. So many companies were missing, to name a couple of the big ones...

FM9 Turbo Warranty

I never buy extended warranties. Of course something can always happen. For context with Fractal gear I have an Ultra, II Mk1, MFC101, AX8, III Mk1, FM9 and never had an issue with any of them and all working perfectly.

Always bad to use a standard connection type for something non standard. I remember when Dell used to use standard ATX connector on motherboards but they re-wired it. Failed power supply, replaced it with new one and guess what, fried it. Needed a dell one. They don't do that anymore.

If my memory is correct, this happened in the standard/ultra days connecting the xlr outs to a cable with phantom power would fry it. This didn't happen with the 2 as it had protection against it. Surprised the FC's suffer from this unless by design its not possible to protect against it...

Great video. I've watched quite a few of his. Great player and always comes across as a down to earth guy. This video resonated with me being a big fan of Ritchie Blackmore. Saw him first in 1980 when i was 15. Nice shoutout to Fractal too.

Can we change the phase of an amp?

A lot of the out of phase tone from Brian might be just from source, ie the Red Special. 3 pickups each having an on off and phase reversal. Quite a few videos on youtube if you search Brian May Rig Rundown. Good one from his tech Pete Malandrone. Actually on the Axe you can simulate his rig...

USB disconnecting

Something to try even though I have not had the issue is to open device manager and for each entry under Universal Serial Bus Controllers right click and open properties. If there is a Power Management tab select it and if Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power is checked then...

I've loved my setup of a Matrix GT1500 into Atomic passive CLR's. Used with both my Axe-FX II and AX8. Not hooked my III up to them yet, this weekend for sure I will.

BitDefender Antivirus Interferes with Axe-Fx III Driver Installation

When installing the driver do you also have the II driver installed? I'm sure Fractal thought of this though having both installed on the same machine. My III arrives today so will be trying to install the driver. Will post my results when I know anything.

This is so surreal to me. Had the pleasure of seeing him perform 2 weeks ago as of yesterday. Headliner of the last day of the KAABOO music festival in Del Mar, California. Such an amazing show. I'll have the memories and the pictures I took. Still difficult to believe he has gone.

I don't think anyone should be worried about where it says its made. Cliff or Matt can correct me if I am wrong. But AX8's as far as i know, circuit boards etc were always made in China. Final assembly was done in the USA. The change now is the final assembly is done in China. Final testing...

Advice on mfc case.

I went with a Diago Showman. Enough space for the MFC and a couple of expression pedals. The top cover is a snug fit as the foam does push down on the top of the MFC but it keeps everything in place...

Glenn fry has died.

I saw the eagles twice in a the space of a month a few years ago. What an incredible couple of shows. Not many bands put on a nearly 4 hour show. Guess they have to, crowd wants to hear the hits and there is a lot of them. I've also never heard live sound so good as them. RIP Glenn Frey.

Correct setting for Input Mode in I/O?

If your plugging just into the front input then the input mode 1 should be set to left only. Pretty sure changing it will alter the input levels of your presets so you they will need to be adjusted. Mark

Cooper Carter reviews FW15
