Does Input 2 XLR still require a mic pre for vocal mic?

I run an MXR Talkbox on my rig and I pass the vocal line through the Axe Fx 2 via a small mic pre. I have noticed that the Axe Fx 3 input 2 has XLR inputs. I am wondering if I’d still have to use a mic pre to boost the mic signal into the Axe Fx 3 to be able to run vocals through it? Thanks guys.

Trying to run a cabinet. Total fail. Help needed.

Bug? Possible Scene controller bug [NOT A BUG]

I noticed that when I attache a scene modifier to the Time parameter on the Reverb block the CPU meter jumps up about 10%.When I detach the Scene modifier from the time parameter it jumps back down 10%. I'm not sure if this is expected behaviour or not. Just thought I should mention it.

EHX Bassballs Emulation.

Hi guys I'm trying to figure out how to emulate the classic Bassballs pedal by EHX. It is a strange little pedal. It has two dynamic envelope filters apparently. I have no idea where to begin with this or how the two filters would be aligned or affecting each other. Anyone have any ideas?

Does Amp Block Improvements affect the FAS amps?

I am wondering seeing as the FAS Amps have no real world counterpart I wonder if the constant improvements to the amp block have any effect on them? I use only the FAS Modern and I wonder if I'm missing out on all the fun.

High gain amp With good note definition.
