    We do it. I like the feel, though it was singer driven. The other guitar player took over singing tasks since we couldnt find one, and for him to cover what we wanted to do, and for his voice to last 3 sets-we drop a half step and stick in an instrumental or two.

    I change it up all the time, though I do try to make sure that the primary and backup for a gig are very similar. So, two suhr, or two PRS, or two LPs. Had some issues with guitars that were too different and having to tweak too much for my liking.

    They only cancel in the middle position. I have a 408 and a signature limited. Never bonded with a PRS in 20+years of trying to, until these two. Just great guitars. For a more LP guy, which I am, the binding and 3 way toggle of the sig lim might be more natural. The 408 is very cool on it's own...
