I'm beginning to think that @FractalAudio was just messing with us about the waffle iron.

We've quickly gone from "a few weeks", to getting closer to "a couple of months".
I've had to adjust my assumptions about "few". If someone said "Can I borrow a few bucks?", how much would you assume they need? I'll check back in November lol.

A couple of anything is two. A few is 3 to 5. Anything above that receives an exact date or a range, as in "surgery recovery may take 4 to 6 weeks".
Not that it really matters, but a few weeks has more come and gone.

To y'all that think touching footswitches with your fingers is innovation: Have you ever had to clean a barroom floor?
Yes, I have. Back in school, one of my jobs was to clean a disco that had shag carpeting. Wednesday night was 10-cent drink night. The drinks were served in small paper cups. The first order of business on Thursday morning was to rake the cups out of that sticky shag carpeting. Second order of business was to attempt to vacuum said carpet. :weary:

You didn't mop it first?

For sure. Certainly a good way to drum up interest and even potentially dissuade people from acting on immediate gear interests/purchases.

Three switches on FM3 is already a little too few. Modelling pickups would the best option here, but small guitar-strap sized modelling device with headphones-only output would be marvelous to have.
I'd use it more often than my FM3. If it had BT for connecting external controllers, that's would be "it". And if it also had wireless transmitter, that would be a little too much to ask!
A man can dream, right? :)
