If it's not, then you'll stand corrected.I am 99% sure it is a new set of orthopedic shoes with a build in expression pedal. Connected to any Fractal product via wireless TRS.

That would be an interface to Udio. You played this, and you probably meant to play…. THIS!The Talent Knob

But enough joking.
The wait is over.
I have infiltrated the FAS R&D Bunker in Cheyenne Mountain (leased from the DoD) and got some intel.
Finally, "tone is in the fingers" has been actualized and mass produced for the common man.

Maybe it'll use the FM3's USB-A port which will then be activated so we can use it's power?maybe it's a USB dongle to allow us to edit the unit via wireless or Bluetooth

But that doesn't have firmware, so not it.I'm hoping the new product is an official iPad Axe-Edit.![]()
Sorry, but just having the ability to hook something up to the computer does not make it an interface. I know you can record guitars via USB, but interfaces have at least one mic pre and can do more than 48k recording. Most who are serious about recording don't even use that feature as we have real audio interfaces available.
On that topic, that market is at least as saturated as the mixer market. Fractal has a history of innovation within their main area of expertise and I'm sure whatever they are cooking will be amazing.
Yes, and they could call it AXE-FX III.A rackmountable FX unit that could be used seamlessly with the FC's would be killer.. bonus points if it can also load IR's.
