Here is my latest update to my AX8 rig with Barefoot buttons. I condensed it down to a smaller board and removed the volume pedal. Really wasn't needed. Added a Boss FS-7 with status lights and a Line6 G10 Wireless. Works great.View attachment 36714

Thanks man! As said, the Six string is Mayones Regius 6 with BKP Juggernauts set and the sevenstring is RAN Crusher FT7 with BKP Blackdogs set.

Both guitars are made in Poland.

Yes, I am quite picky about my tuner(s)

EDIT: I don't really like the tuner in the Shure - It feels like a Korg PitchBlack or something from that generation. The AX8 tuner is great, but I am addicted to the polymode of the polytune.

I agree, that's why I use a Polytune Clip, it's small, quick, accurate and offers polymode...

This is why I'm not putting my AX8 on a board....before I know it, I'll have a large footprint on stage and more weight to carry. "Keep it simple" is going to be my approach....AX8 + EV5 expression pedal.

Exactly. I was up to the boat anchor stage at one point. What was I thinking!? Now, I just carry the AX8 and two DVP4 pedals (volume and wah) in a Mono Kontroller bag... and that's it! Amp in other hand, guitar on back. Easy load-in/out and setup. And it sounds FABULOUS!

I've been following this mantra since I got the AX8 when it was released and it's working out. Fight footprint creep!
