    i had a similar experience this morning - HX stomp with my QSC's, and then the Fractals....working/confirming patches for upcoming gigs.... the line6 - while great - has a mid-range that colors (or clogs:P) the gain patches that my FXIII/FM3 does not - same IR's, same FRFR, gig volume Fractal...

    i've achieved 212 "nirvana" with the Dyna-cab (vs. small spkr IR's), with the DC blk my "go to". However i'm still working on finding the right combination for 412's (vs my 3rd party IR's). the quest - and fun - continues!

    YES - i have the RG5320C-DFM and RG5320CSW....they are my "go to's" with my strandbergs! I was hesitating on going into anything but the 550's and 700's because the rabbit hole on the Premium vs Prestige vs J-Custom vs Signature is too deep and fraught with all sorts of varied opinions :P YMMV...

    still use both - leaning towards the legacy stuff only because i have my favorite pre-DC IR's (both FAS and 3rd party). overtime i can definitely see that i'll be a DynaCab user over the normal IR's only because of the ability to tweak at gigs

    10000% agreed. DC is my choice as i was always adjusting my IR"s to suit the gig/room - or worse PEQ'ing for IEMs and the room :( with DC - it's a mic adjustment away. YMMV! :)

    this ^^ the only caveat is that occasionally i will leave a bit more of the high end component (bring back to 9500hz) depending on the quality of the room's PA system (and the FOH person) as its more difficult to add hi's than reduce- YMMV

    i too use a Drop pedal on all my non-FAS boards. Question - did you have CPU issues with the virtual capo or pitch block? or were you experiencing latency vs the Drop?
