    For the first issue you WANT Scene Revert ON. It “reverts to how it was saved.” What you showed is exactly what happens when Scene Revert is Off. Not sure about the foot switch, seems like hardware unless the latest release (if you’re on that) happens to cause it.

    Once you update firmware it has the new modeling. It does not have the newest default amp settings unless you reset the block to default. Update Presets saves all presets so it is updated with the latest version number for features like gapless changes.

    the guide you reference is for the Axe2. this function was changed a while ago for the 3rd gen products to reset only the current channel you're on. you can see what that shortcut refers to in the Block menu dropdown at the top of Axe-Edit. ctrl+i resets the channel.
