I am absolutely loving the FM9 in front of clean amps. Which goes against some long held beliefs about loops and complex rigs. I think some of my PDub friends over the years may have had a point all along.

Well, the truth was boldly revealed on post #18 of this thread. Anyone expecting something different is going to get a huge disappointment

ok, it's the moment of truth.
Now I'll explain how things went: Cliff studied, designed and created various prototypes of a revolutionary machine; no, you are not and I am not able to know what it is, but it is something absolutely fantastic and unthinkable, something that can change the musical world forever and for the better.
The fact is that the hype for this new product from FAS has made Cliff understand that it is not the time yet because all you have asked and hoped for is the usual pedal (the less powerful version of something that already exists) and so in a fit of rage he burned and destroyed everything, and now he quickly designs and creates your beautiful and usual guitar pedal.

Just to be extra clear so that there is no room for any confusion: all we have asked for is a new waffle. That's it. Anything else is just an extrapolation or a misunderstanding.
