I posted this in another thread but in kind of thinking outside the box, what if we are all off base. I still suspect it will be a tonex type of competitor but what if it’s Fractal headphones would have an editor to adjust your eq curve and maybe the ability to load those hearing test results into the editor to tweak them even more to your hearing? I know someone posted an app that does a hearing test and then you load it into your AirPods. It worked really well for me. I’m mean how cool would/could Fractal headphones be! I’m holding off on a Ollo purchase until next year so if Fractal has taken that route I’ll be ready!

Like Slate VSX?
Would be cool. I have the VSX, so I'm unlikely to buy...but would be cool to see another competitor in that market.
 
My best guesses are:
- IOS/Android Software for all (Axe3, FM9, FM3) along with a small usb device to communicate to your IOS/Android via Bluetooth
- Fractal Power Amp (with built in Load Box and IR Loader)
- Fractal FRFR (also with Load Box and IR Loader)
- Load Box with IR Loader

Wasn't this all started from Cliff saying that the team is working on Firmware updates to a new product? Wouldn't that rule software out?

This would be my top choice but with fractal being a smaller company than say your Line 6, Boss, Peavey,etc..., Do you think fractal has the capacity to produce amps or an amp like product? I could be ignorant; is there much of a difference production wise between say your modeler product and an amp product?
 
I am sorry, but it gets old that every time their is a new product we have to guess. I understand that at the very beginning- yes be quiet.
But come on!
I would rather NOTHING was said until it was officially announced............
