New Axe-Fx II Drivers for OS X and Windows

All,

We have released new Axe-Fx II drivers for OS X and Windows.
These are recommended for all of our customers using the USB features of the Axe-Fx II.

OS X Minimum Requirements:
  • Intel processor, USB 2.0, 512MB RAM
  • For MIDI-over-USB: OS X v10.5.7 or newer
  • For USB Audio: OS X v10.7.4 or newer
  • Improves USB audio performance - Please also install Axe-Fx II FW 10.09 and see the Release Notes for details.

Windows Requirements:
  • Intel Core2 @1.6+ GHz or equivalent, USB 2.0, 1GB RAM
  • Windows XP SP3 or better (x86 or x64 supported)
  • Our most-up-to-date driver, now compatible with Windows 8

Hey my little scratch app works now, with the new drivers, Bravo!!! I have Riffworks, which I use when I don't want to play with reaper. Anyway, before the signal was really scratchy, so I thought I would give it a try with the new drivers. The result is that it works great no more Scratchy signal.


Thanks again. I thought it was the App, I guess not.
 
hehe, someone complaining that the latest gear DOESN'T work with the latest OS's :) that's a new one.
 
sorry not laughing, and i still am a cool guy.

how far back should it be compatible? the one you have?
 
During the install I received a message saying "Uninstall is only compatible with blah bha... (long list, no Windows 8) But when I check on devices it shows Ver. 1.67.0.0 so I assume that everything is OK.
 
Hi,i dont know it it``s Ubs driver.. or FW 10.09

But i dont seem to get my Midi Keybord to work (when doing drums in cubase)

Cubace see midi comming in. But dont make any sound.

Anyboby else ?? Or is it just me ?? :)
 
So i uninstalld the New usb driver.1.67
and installed the old 1.50 driver.. and now My Midi Keybord Works!

So it must be the New driver,that does not work Under Windows 7,with My Cubase 7 and my midi keybord.


Should i stay on the old driver.. for now ?? Since it works
