A surmountable problem, indeed.
Certainly. With time and some money spent, it’ll come.

The GoFundMe is a solid idea if you want to help him out here. Money can move mountains.Overnight express to Mr. Grenadine, I say. Start a GoFundMe page to make it worth his while.

It wasn't aimed at you, or anyone in particular. But if he is willing to take it on (a huge assumption), I'll start a fund. In any case, it will be a while. Are you saying that I should start it? I don’t worry all that much about porting presets. Some blocks would be nice, but overall I think the new grid deserves some rethinking. So I’ll be recreating presets this time, I think.
Save them to CSV or SysEx. Much easier to follow than screen shots. You can view the SysEx files in Fractool.Screen shot all the patches you have now that you and just rebuild them. If you have all the pics of how it is it will take like 5 mins.
That would work for some, but not so well for me. I can easily have ten blocks in a preset, with multiple pages per block. And you can't screenshot and duplicate a tone match. I'm not even sure if the III can use cab files for the II.Screen shot all the patches you have now that you and just rebuild them. If you have all the pics of how it is it will take like 5 mins.

Cool.Export TM as an IR. You can then use that in the III.
It shouldn't be too difficult to make a utility that converts presets. I tried to keep most of the parameter IDs the same for just that reason.
Great to hear. I'll offer my support in any way I can to whomever needs it.It shouldn't be too difficult to make a utility that converts presets. I tried to keep most of the parameter IDs the same for just that reason.

Excellent newsIt shouldn't be too difficult to make a utility that converts presets. I tried to keep most of the parameter IDs the same for just that reason.
Just want you to know that I'd gladly pay for a version of Fractool (or any app) that would convert II presets to III.Excellent news
That opens a future for FracTool and FracPad maybe
@FractalAudio : I suppose the sysex messages changed a lot (and i kind of hope it did ) ?
This.If @AlGrenadine was interested in doing something similar as Fractool and Fracpad I would have no issue supporting it as in the past.
