I have those in my backyard also, just like the cartoon they never catch him!

Just be glad that the (now extinct) Passenger Pigeon has not nested in your garage. The largest recorded nesting in history was 850 sq miles in 1871 (estimate 136 million pigeons). Very messy place I would imagine!

I think they prefer stray cats. Whenever I saw a coyote, he always had a dead cat in his mouth. Or a small dog.

We've got roadrunners and coyotes. Based on what I've seen, there is no way a roadrunner could escape a coyote. Jim could just fly away.

Supposedly roadrunners can hit about 20 MPH, while coyotes can hit about 40 MPH. Loony Toons lied to us all those years.

I used to see them a lot back when I worked at SCC over on the SRPMIC rez. Cool birds. Ted DeGrazia did a painting that really captured their essence....

Fact! you will rarely if ever see a Coyote mess with a rattlesnake! A Road Runner, It's thinking lunch!

In France lots of pigeons got out of the woods and will stay or walk on roads since the confinement. Don't understand how nor why this happened but it's like that, this is no joke btw.

Hi @FractalAudio Cliff. I'll tell you what. I will help you with the pigeon if you can use your superior thinking abilities to help me come up with a bird proof feeder. I live in a small town and waited a week before putting up a new feeder thinking the bear was just passing thru. Turns out she has taken up residence. This is what she left for me this morning.

Maybe a siren with flashing disco lights on a motion sensor will scare it off.
Anything else I can think of may make a mess.
