The new speaker drive algo is magic. At 2 on distorted tones sweetens everything up, and running it around 3 or 4 on an edgey Fender style amp is like sprinkling pixxie dust on your ears.

Do I detect less overall EQ scoop? Seems like more mids...which would make sense if it's even more similar to a real guitar cab. Also seems like less gain.

The dynamic distortion is really interesting, try running two in parallel with different target frequencies, kinda magic. Uses very little cpu... two more instances possible?

No, the new speaker drive algorithm will immediately be active with FW20, but the parameter will stay where it is in all your presets. So if you have it at 0 you won't hear it... but you can tweak as desired.

Resetting resets all amp parameters (including speaker drive to 2).

Nope...just recorded both...no major tonal changes other than I do think 20 sounds slightly better

But I’m just wondering, the new Dynamic Distortion block is best placed directly before the amp, isn’t it?

You beat me to it, but honestly you can now put two DC30s in series and get pretty dang close.....was just playing with this idea a few min ago.
