Axe-Fx III Firmware 28.00 Release

I re-installed 27.03 and everything works fine. No lock ups. I left the new Axe Edit 1.14.11 installed, and it seems to be working fine with 27.03, So I don't think it's Axe Edit.

Before I gave up on 28.00 I deleted 4 blocks and got my CPU. around 70% and the Axe FXIII still locked up, no sound, and meters all stuck on full up, when I got to the dyna-comp classic. So I don't think it's CPU, although I did notice the new compressors seem to be increasing the CPU.
I'm running my normal complex 4 instrument presets at 78% with absolutely no issues. At home I'm actually running my guitar, 2 keyboards and vocals through my Axe FXIII MKII Turbo, with again, no issues. This update is the best yet. I suggest reloading Axe Edit and the firmware, then try as many factory presets as you like first to see if the issue is still there. Then check any 3rd party or your own created presets, as they can sometimes reek havoc.

Just for the support report:
I changed the CR2032 battery for a new one and restored my good fw 28 system backup.
Unfortunately it didn't change anything: After several reboots with a pause of several minutes between each startup, I lost all my system and FC settings..
Alot of people seems to have problems with fw28 mine f... up my ext switches and when i loaded the old settings in it whiped preset 1-5 clean
back to beta which seems to run good... but maybe its not firmware but Axe edit can anyone confirm ?

I see a lot of praise for the Marshalls, Friedmans, Stealths and other beasts. But the old 6G4 Super deserves some love. Here is a little quick demo with the new firmware. Tube Drive 5-knob with drive at 0.8. Optical Compressor + Modern VCA Compressor. Factory 1 #190 1x12 Carol-Ann CAB.

P90..?

Are the “Improved triode modeling algorithms and Various other fixes and improvements” applicable to all amp models or just the ones listed in Cliffs post?

I only really use the Dirty Shirley and Band Commander

You have an AxeFX III, you already have more CPU than you’ll ever need…
For you maybe, but not me. In the past when firmware updates increased the CPU it often made me have to delete a block in a preset that was just fine before the update. That is one of the reasons the Axe FXIII Turbo exists. I'll probably update to the Turbo eventually specifically for the added CPU.

FW 28: HELP lost my both footcontrollers... possible downgrade to fw 27.03 ??

EDIT: Downgrade to 27.03 don't help:eek:
