When i select link to and load from with the global block

It's been a while since I last had an axe fx so I might be wrong, but from what I recall, when you're saving something new in a global block, you should only select "link to" and not "link to and load from", otherwise it will recall whatever settings are already stored in that global block.

Correct.

When you "load from" you are pulling the settings from the existing global block.

So i should make a new preset and have a sort of master preset where i do all changes?

And how do i reset the global block now that the error is there?

You can just unlink the block.

I would do this:
Unlink only the Pitch 2 from global.
Reset only the Pitch 2 block and enter your settings again. I noticed that the block behaves as it should after resetting.
Then link it to the global block again

I cant find this update for some reason. My Axe is still on 27.00 even though when I click on "Help - View Release Notes," I Can see that the latest firmware is 27.02. Any help?
I tried to uninstall Axe edit and refresh after new firmware, but it doesn't help

It looks like I need to do it manually with the fractal bot. Sorry for the potentially confusing question. I got an axe fx III a month ago, so I am pretty new to it.

Updated to 27.02 now the Dana cabs are missing. It states incorrect cab file version. Can anyone steer me in the right direction? I still have dyna cab ver 1.06 do I need to reinstall this? I would think the cabs would have been included in the new FW.

You installed the wrong firmware.

I installed FW 27.00 first and had this pop up attached. I updated axe edit and it said there was an update 27.02 which one was i supposed to install?

If your intention was to install the latest firmware, then 27.02 was the one to go with.

So that is the version I updated to via Axe Edit but still no dyna cabs. Any idea on how to resolve this?

In the download area for AXE III FW 27.00 as the newest update. The notes still suggest to install 1.06 dyna cabs. Is this what needs to be done?

Yes, install the DynaCabs 1.06 file. The Firmware & DynaCabs have always been separate files & installations.
