Axe FX II Looper vs. Boss RC-30

Quick questions guys!!

I'm a new Axe FX II user (and I love it, and will never return, and etc. etc.)

I don't have the MFC-101 yet, but it's my next big purchase. No new vinyl player, house stuff, etc. before the MFC 101 is a reality for me.

So I have a question...

Not long ago I bought the Boss RC-30 to use in band settings, jam settings, and solo gig settings.

I love it, great pedal.

However now that I have the Axe II and will soon have the MFC-101... is there anything the RC-30 can do that the Axe Looper won't be able to?

I can still return the RC-30 and get my money back, and I'd certainly like to if the MFC-101 + Axe II make it irrelevant to my rig.

Thank you so much for any feedback, and I hope all that read this thread have an amazing day!!!!

Thank you!!! That's very very helpful. I am a serious looper, and use it as an integral part of my sound.... so, maybe the RC-30 is the right choice!!

Any other opinions? Thank you to everyone in advance!!!!

The RC-30 is a dedicated looper with LOTS of dedicated functions. The Axe on the other hand is more akin to the loop function of the Line6 DL-4. Surprisingly usable for the occasional looping, but if you're really serious about looping, I'd stick with the RC-30 too.

Thank you guys!! All this input is super helpful and I appreciate everyone getting back to me within the day. The Axe looper seems awesome and like it's great for jam settings, etc. but the RC-30 is quickly proving it's worth.

Any more feedback is highly appreciated!!! Leaning more towards the Boss RC-30 by the minute...
