Axe-Fx II Firmware Version 8.01a Up

Question: I understand there are problems with using Axe-edit with 8.01 but can you simply update to 8.01 and down/up load banks using AE? I am assuming most of the problems are with editing patches with AE. Thanks.

AE works fine for updates -at least for me. Most issues (like you mentioned) occur when editing patches.

There's a couple guys on here who have it archived and downloadable. I can't recall whom they are, but there's some links floating around.

There is no need to do this.

Oh! Boy, that's embarassing. I guess all the previous data along with the revised ones are carried in each update.....damn....and I was suspecting this was happening. Thank you very much Cliff!
