Wait! I loaded an update fix on the 25th that was axefx2_18p04beta. Different? That was beta and this is not?

Betas will have a b in the filename.

Yes - the beta you installed, and the previous ones have a bug in them that will disappoint and frustrate you. This is the fix for that issue.

LOL. That's always my answer too.

The 404 was "/downloads/firmware-presets/axe-fx-2/18.0/axefx2_18p043.zip", which looks like a typo to me, rather than an older-no-longer-available-version that may have been cached.

In any case, it looks resolved now. Happy someone fixed it up quick, otherwise Chris may have written a blog post about it...

somehow after the update. the axe fx is not recognized by my macbook. its says this device has no output or input controls. anyone having similar trouble? normally use my axe as a sound card. now not sure whats going on

had to go back to 18.0 beta for the sound to work again
