New Windows 10 Driver for Axe-Fx III

Looks like I found a bug with it. The ports were set to the axe still. I had to set to NONE close the app, Reopened Axe-Edit and set ports back to the axe and then it connected. Although the ports were set to the axe originally, the connection was not made in axe-edit.

Seems to be a pervasive issue - Fractal bot loads and sees the AF3 without issue and Windows 10 acknowledges the disconnect and reconnect. Has there been a window update that changed something??

somehow the pedal is changing the channels for the wah block - where can I check to reset that? edit - in the midi/remote/channel setup - the wahwah 1 was set to use the controller 2 in the FC12 - set it to none and the wah is normal and the channels do not change as I move the controller...

yes, just tried in the pedal inputs of the AXE and they work normal - something is messed up with the FC12 and the pedals or the way the Axe sets up the FC12 pedals in my environment.

nope, 63% and steady... Just got the wah hooked up and all models are super scratchy. I calibrated the controller - using an ME black pedal SP1 Wah is before amp and the rest of the chain in the patch.

and spillover is set to both - this used to work. Not sure why it is broke or set different now. edit - set the spillover to mute in :) got it now! - well crap, that shuts off ALL of the signal... MUTE FX IN works...

How to program MIDI changes

Never pursued it any further - the drummer runs the unit and he said that he is only playing the SB16 with audio - I know there are timing and sync processes in the background and did not want to pressure him about it. Sorry. :(

I will check that out. Does that mean there is no true bypass? The reverb is off in the patches. The return block doesn't make as much of a difference for 5 db sound/volume change. When I use a looper, the volume stays the same. When using live feed, there is a significant volume difference.

Question about the Tuner

the tuner has always had an issue with smooth graphics in my use. I do not strike the strings hard either. Would sure be nice to have a much smoother and consistent behavior with it. Don't get me wrong, it works, but could be smoother.

hot swap USB?

Wondering if a hot swap USB will get implemented in the AF3. I ran into an issue in my DAW playback and had to swap between the RME UFX and the AF3 to determine an audio issue. I am using Cakewalk, but this is not a DAW issue. The AF3 had to be power recycled every time I unplugged the USB...

I thought you could only use one USB audio interface at a time. The ASIO4ALL is a know issue for a lot of the non specific hardware drivers. Also make sure your power settings are set to not allow windows to turn the power ports off for USB ports

I guess with the AXE FX III and the FC12 - we could program something similar? I don't have a FM3, but loved those button combos. Maybe split the FC12 into dual FC6 mode? Don't know how hard that would be. Maybe a nightmare... Was just wondering - thank y'all for the replies!

Was able to get the updates - the website said there were issues logging in, but I got logged in somehow. Was able to get the updates without issue. Nice updates on the videos, they should be able to help folks new to this process.

12.3 pop on scene switch - new patch for 12.3

Tried to put together a preset for one of my bands songs and there is a loud pop switching between scene1 and scene2. Attaching preset - 100% repro here - mostly going from scene2 to scene1 with the guitar volume up - just air from the guitar. It is pretty noisy. Scene 1 to scene 2 is quieter...

Depeche Mode Synth/Moog Lead ( It’s no Good Cover)

UPPER and LOWER limits on AXE for FC - where are they now?

axeFX III automatically updates?

the FC, AXE and edit all have separate versions. You have to manually update the firmware and choose to update the edit

Not able to access all patches on FC12 - banks only go to 259

USER error - I was thinking that the Bank buttons were global - they are not! I edited the correct layout and I have it working now.

UPPER and LOWER limits on AXE for FC - where are they now?

my error using the AE - I did not have the correct layout set when changing the values. Set the correct layout and it is working now. This concerns me that the UPPER and LOWER limit setting access is not on the AXE though. Am I missing the location?

yeah, the FC12 is not honoring those values. I get patches up to 259 and that is allI have not bounced the Axe yet, but pretty sure I shouldn't have to

the bank is set to +1 and -1 since those are bank switching values. I only want to move 1 bank at a time. I set the Max value in AE to 102 102*5 should get me all patch banks Thought this value used to be in the AXE
