    I love that tone. Here is Neil Young's version, that guy is pretty good too ;): Sounds like a Fender amp about to explode! I think it's just the volume and the guitar interacting. In your video I hear more delay and reverb than in Neil Young's version. It makes the sustain seem even bigger.

    I like how the Plexi 50W 6550 and the Deluxe Tweed handle it. The new Friedman 2018 also does it well. If there's a way to improve it further, that would be great but I wonder if the real amps actually behave like that. I *am* curious about Richard Fortus' Voodoo Amps R4 Single signature amp.

    Richard Fortus says the Axe FX doesn't work for him: He seems to be saying that the Axe FX and Kemper don't respond like a real amp to the guitar knobs. I wonder if he's tried recent Axe FX II or III firmware, the amps clean up wonderfully with the volume knob rolled back.

    I use the Two Stone J35 1 for dirtier tones. No need to touch the EQ, just adjust the gain to the amount you like. Using the guitar's volume knob you can go from almost clean blues rhythm guitar to almost plexi territory.
