    If you wish yes.. Connect H9 in the loop and change presets using MIDI. You can switch them not only when changing patches on AX8 but you can switch them inside preset using Scenes. Scene 1 - Preset 45 on H9, Scene 2 - Preset 99 etc

    Exactly the same happened to me. First days and only first two banks. AX8 (so... Axe in general) in one patch has a lot lot colors. I chnaged guitars, pups, vol. knob position but not so much presets :D And... this is first modeler on which I can play with pure amp+cab settings whithout reverb.

    @Alan Benjamin it is slightly off topic but in department of midi converters/guitar emulation ebony fretboard change nothing. Piezzo hex pickups are more problematic (need filtering) then regular GK-2/3, Yamaha G1D/Axon pickups. But.. it is a niche :)

    It is not true. Hex-piezzo isn't better and for hardware like VG-99, GR-55 need addtional subsonic filter. The exception is GP-10.

    Fractal modeled all amps on HI input. So if you on real amp use Low input you must change Input Trim to 0.5. This setting is equivalent of Low IN (-6 dB). See here.
