Yes output, thanks I corrected that! The presets were created on the HS8s or Matrix GT1000FX + Orange PPC212. I've also tried making presets from scratch. I could use the global EQ if I'm even able to get tones that I love. I guess it's possible that the tweeter is not working? I got it used...

How exactly do you use the expression pedal on the input volume? I click on the "input + gate" but only see gate parameters. I prefer to do it on the spot, b/c once we get it right, we never have to change it for that particular guitar part ;)

I think it's an older one, part of the stock cabs. I'm going to get cab pack 13 (4x12 recto standard OS cabinet) and we'll test those out later this week.

No. I think it might be the stereo/mono phase issue that some have mentioned. No. We did that with our first album. I bought the Axe partially so we don't have to do that anymore, and to save the band a bunch of money that would otherwise be spent using studio time. It's all good, I don't mind...

Do you recommend any? For high gain stuff, #14 interests me the most b/c of all the v30 4x12s. Numbers 7, 9, 12, and 13 also interest me, but are single cab packs. And maybe #15 for cleans.. or not needed for cleans? I'll narrow it down to 1-3 packs for now, which should be plenty to mess around...

Yeah that's true, didn't think about the pickups. EMGs are high output yeah. So, you're saying almost everything requires a bunch of post processing to shape the tone? I could have sworn I've heard some brilliant sounding tones online that people claim to have done no post-processing, just raw...

I didn't build a preset from scratch, but I messed around with it by bypassing effects so that I basically had Input --> Drive (OD808) --> Noise Gate --> Amp (5150iii) --> Cab (some 4x12) --> Output.. and messed around with GEQ. I've also downloaded other users' presets that sounded AMAZING but...

What's the difference between LF+JR+ green screen & blue screen versions?

I'm not really sure about this, and can't seem to find accurate information online... I did see Jeff's youtube video showing the blue screen versions with the quiet button technology. Other than that, is there really any differences between the two? I'm guessing the green screen ones are older...

Wow! I'm curious as to how expensive these X series controllers are going to be, and what new specs they will offer compared to the LF+ series. Are there any real downfalls of the LF+ series with the Axe2? If so, maybe I won't get the LF JR+ that I mentioned above for $600 and wait to see the X...

Thanks for the great advice. I see a midi mate on kijiji for $120, but I'm thinking I might take the plunge and get the LF JR+ so that I don't have to bother upgrading down the road. It saves a lot of space too.

Is there a way to use phantom power with Rocktron Midi Raider & Axe Fx 2?

After reading countless threads and owner's manuals, it looks like the Midi Raider can't use phantom power because it's rated at 9VAC 1500mA (owner manual says it needs 1100mA or more). The Axe Fx II owner's manual says to not exceed 1000mA. Is all this true? If so, I do not want to risk...
