So I also upgraded to 10.03.. a couple of questions: 1. Does anyone still set their HF to 2.52? 2. Does anyone still set a PEQ at the end of the chain like YEK? (Rolling of the highs and lows) 3. What else has changed in the amp settings for you since updating?

Using the AxeFX Live.. Direct into FOH vs mic'd tube amp

This is what I was thinking, but I just wanted to see what the general census was.. I think I will give it a try going direct to FOH for a while and see how it goes. I'm loving the tone I get via my studio monitors at home, but it will be interesting to see if a similar tone comes out of FOH...

Problem changing patches with the midi mate

I just got my AxeFX this week and I'm loving it!! However, I've come across a small problem.. I'm using a midi mate in controller mode to changes patches and turn on/off different effects. For some reason, when I change patches with the midi mate all the effects are bypassed by default...

Thanks guys! Yer, I've been reading the manual, but it keeps mentioning the effects loop on the amp, which mine doesn't have. So I just wanted to make sure it would still work ok :)

Axe fx throuh Fender blackface vintage from 1966???

OK, I've found something that might work: I could sit the AxeFX in the rack, and then just lean my amp against the bottom half off the rack.. perfect! If you have any other ideas, please share :)

As my rack united is a simple 2U case that just holds the AxeFX, I'm still unsure what to do with it. I had one idea to buy a fake (empty) guitar cabinet and just plonk the AxeFX on top. But this would probably get to be annoying to carry to each set. My other idea is to simply buy a guitar...

Can you use volume pedals?

I totally agree about the feel of the Ernie Ball pedals! Question: Do you use 2 Ernie Ball pedals with the Axefx? My AxeFX is arriving next week and I'll be using my faithful old Ernie Ball Volume pedal with it.. I'm glad its the 25K version. Woot!
