Help please for a new user.

For power to the MFC you will still need to plug the power supply into the back of the Axe and an outlet. Then the 7 pin carries the phantom power to the MFC. As far as the 127 you have to scroll past to other presets with the dial. Hope this helps you out. Ed

Any tube power amps people use with Power Amp Sims on?

I was using a Mesa 2:50 with an Earcandy cab and left the sims on. I felt it sounded much better with the sims on. Just my opinion. Ed

So, tell me about the versatility of FRFR cabinets.

I tried the power amp cab route, as that is what I was used to. Went with FRFR and can't really see myself going back at this time. 2 QSC K12's for me. Already got rid of my cabs and looking to sell my power amp as well. Enjoy the journey and hope you find your tonal nirvana. Ed

Sorry to hear about the disappointment FrostByte. I am currently playing through 2 K12's and don't think I could be anymore satisfied. Ultra and K12's cured my amp gas for a while. Just my opinion. Your results may vary, obviously. Ed

Not to but in, but the Atomics were not made with the Axe in mind. Not saying they are bad just saying they were two companies that sort of united. The Atomic was being used years ago with the Pod and Tonelab. Just saying. Ed

Passive FRFR Wedge other than the atomic reactor?

You could take a look at the Carvin TRx12N. Passive, small, light, coaxial design. Been looking at this one myself, but still kicking around going with QSCs. The specs on it look good though and the price certainly isn't to bad either. Just another option. Ed

I do not really care if it is a verve killer. Just wondering if anyone had used, tried, or heard one. FBT seems to have some issues with shipping to U.S. Would rather spend my money on American made product where possible. QSC has a better warranty and is readily available. Myself I think the KW...

Hi, I don't know that this is the right forum, but I'll try anyway. :?: Why is it that when I change presets with the value wheel on the face of my Ultra it doesn't change on the MFC? Any ideas, suggestions, or is this just the way it is? When I use the MFC to change presets it seems to work...

Hi people, I have the MFC-101 and an Ultra. I am midi challenged, a midiot. Is it possible to program the MFC to go through all of the presets on the Ultra or am I stuck going from 127 using the value wheel? If it is possible could you tell me how to make this happen? Guess I need to buy a book...

Hi guys, First off I will say I'm not real tech savvy, but I'm trying to learn. Is it possible to run my Ultra thru my 11 Rack into my computer to do firmware upgrades to my Ultra and to also be able to run the GUI for the Ultra on my laptop? If so how do I make it happen. Thanks, Ed :idea:
