"lost notes" in chord voicings on Axe II

My 2 cents (which may be all it's worth) Patch 36, FAS Modern (I think someone mentioned this amp) Running cab mono hi res (Recto V30 (RW)), Raise low cut to taste. Reverb, delay off. Pretty good note definition for me when playing your riff. You may try messing with the amp voicing...

Axe-Fx II Firmware Version 4.01 Up

Good God man, I don't know what you did, but this thing just came ALIVE! I haven't played this good ever! The dynamics are just perfect. Wow, this seems like a bigger jump than 2 to 3, but maybe it's just me.

Amp going into bypass mode while using Wah

Ok, thanks Cliff. I didn't realize that and that is probably the issue.
  5. shantustarsun

Amp going into bypass mode while using Wah

This is certainly a possibility, you may be on to something. I had Axe-Edit connected the night it was happening. Last night I tried to re-create the issue, but it didn't happen. The only difference was Axe-Edit was disconnected last night.

Amp going into bypass mode while using Wah

Axe II is 3.02, MFC is 1.04. This randomly occurs when using the sweeping motion of the wah pedal, not the switch on the pedal that activates the wah. This also happened when using the Ultra, only noticed it when using a Plexi amp model if that matters. BTW, that link didn't work for me, not...

Amp going into bypass mode while using Wah

I don't. If I did the amp would go into bypass everytime I activated the wah pedal. The bypass is random and happens when moving the wah pedal after a period of time. This happened on the Ultra as well, could be a bug in the MFC.
  9. shantustarsun

Amp going into bypass mode while using Wah

While playing the "Cliffs of Dover" patch (Plexi Treble) and using the Wah (Mission Pedal -->MFC-->Ethernet-->AxeII) the amp went into bypass mode. This happened 3 times after various lengths of playing time and always while using the wah pedal. Axe 3.02, MFC current firmware.

    Bug? Mac USB Issues

Still having issues with the clicks/pops as long as the Axe-Fx II is connected. I can even pull the Axe-FX II USB cord out of the back of the Mac while the track is playing and the clicks/pops instantly stop. 99% sure this is an Axe-Fx driver issue, but what do I know?

    Bug? Mac USB Issues

    Level questions

New Axe-Fx II owner here. This thing sounds great! I spent 1.5 hours playing patch 1 '59 Bassman before I moved on to other things! I started the set up with my PRS Torero which as the EMG 81/85 pickups. When I set the levels, "tickling the red" was at about 28%! This seemed strange to me as I...

    Bug? Mac USB Issues

I received the Axe-Fx II last night. Set up an aggregate device with the Axe as the inputs and master clock source and the built-in outputs to monitor. Updating MFC Firmware with Axe II?

I'm sure this has been answered but I couldn't find it, so sorry if this is redundant. Can the MFC-101 be updated through the Axe II or do I need to keep my Midisport to continue to update the firmware of the MFC-101? Thanks in advance.

    Bug? Mac USB Issues

Sorry if this is obvious, but any time I've had the "popping" issues it has always been because of a clock sync issue. Have you guys tried changing the master clock? Or does the Axe II have to be the master? I'm getting my Axe II on Monday and I use Macs for recording. I plan on creating an...

USB recording = random pops in recorded take?

Does anyone have any specific information on this OS X bug? I've been recording for 10+ years on Macs and have never encountered this unless there was a sample rate mismatch somewhere. I use aggregate devices as well. I do not have an Axe II at this point and this issue would certainly...

I had a similar problem last night. I engaged my wah pedal (XP2) and played for a while. Suddenly the Axe would go into bypass mode. This happened several times. Later I noticed the amp block became bypassed once, the drive block a different time, and then the cab block. The strange thing is...

This would be a cool feature! I asked if you could switch "tubes" in the tech questions thread but I don't think there was an answer. It would be cool to be able to switch virtual EL34's with 6L6's!

When I was setting up my Mission pedal switch, I had to go into the midi menu on the MFC and assign a CC# to the switch (which was plugged into switch 1-2 on the MFC), then I chose that # on the midi set-up menu on the Axe. Don't know if this helps or not.
