Pedaltrain VS Temple Audio

I have a PT-2 and a Temple Duo 34, both work very well. The Pedaltrain is a litte more stable but I also would buy the Temple again because of its possibilities

Hi, do you know this? http://www.guitaraffair.com/pdfs/g-system-configuration-and-troubleshooting-guide.pdf You should be able to configure your G-System to contol "simple things" of the axe 3.

Love my FX8 Mark II, but

Hi Sonofiam, 5.03 doesn`t work for me because I need the correct working X/Y MIDI CCs. I'm a fractal user of "the first hour" Axe-Fx, Axe-FX Ultra, Axe-FX 2, XL+, AX8, FX8. I agree that we have no "right" for new features but I think it´s a good service to fix bugs or to give a short information...

Love my FX8 Mark II, but

For me it´s very frustrating - to read about the fantastic III and at the same time to beg half a year for a firmware that is not buggy (MIDI, Backup) and nothing happens. Not at least a reaction "we work on it"... nothing... I'm thinking of selling all my fractal products ;-(

FX8 V5.04 Released

Is it not possible to give a short information about working on a non-buggy fw? We wait till months... For me this is more important than announcing fantastic new products. Working with 5.03 is not an option for me because of the MIDI-Bugs, and I need the full-backup-possibility for my 2 FX8s.

Preset Exchange between MK1 and MK2 - Scenes&FS

Hi everybody, I do often change my presets between MK1 and Mk2 - but my problem is that the footswitches are numbered differently and so I've to sort the scences by hand to have them similar. E.g. Scene 1 = Footswitch lower left and so one. Does anybody have a small converter programm or how...

you can, but you have to connect both jacks of the SP1 (one for pedal and one for the switch) with both pedal input jacks of the FX8. If you don`t want to use a second pedal it´s no problem. I prefer switching the wah by using "Auto OFF/ON" settings) without any hardware switch. Cheers Baerti

@imalrightjack the FX8 has only two pedal jacks. If you connect a pedal with a separate toe switch both jacks are used and there is no jack free e.g. for a volume pedal.

Hi, welcome! If you "click the wah" both EXT jacks of the FX8 are used. I'd prefer switching the wah by "auto-OFF" (pedal position). The best pedal for my use is the Fractal EV-2.

Hi, I have the same problem with my FX8 (5.03) with the reverb A/B (default MIDI CC116) - it switches the rotary. I have checked cables, routings, change numbers - no success. With other A/B like chorus I have no problems. Thanks for helping and best regards!

Thanks yek! I tried this, but that doesn't solved my question. I want to assing the Footswitches to select scene 1-7 and the eight switch should not select a scene but only the MIDI CC. I know If I unselect the scene mode I am able to assign a switch to a MIDi block.

Hello, normally in a song I use a preset with scenes wich works fine for me. Is it possible to set e.g. the footswitch 8 not to select scene 8 but only to make a MIDI CC ? So with the other footswitches I could select scene 1-7 and with the eigth I'm able to choose Master Volume B in each...

copying presets from an FX8 MKI to an FX8 MKII?

You don`t need Fractool, simply copy the presets or banks via Fractal Bot. The only difference is the footswitch layout 1-8, you have to change it for each preset if desired.

Hi Lydian, with FX8-Edit it´s very easy to do the settings: 1) yes 2) I do this with FX8-Edit also without a physical pedal 3) yes simply FX8-Edit copy preset to a new number 4) you can choose the level of each scene individually pre and post 5) I don´t know 6) I prefer using the first way...
