BUT it seems like I can get it to work on all my other presets EXCEPT the absolute first one. Weird. But at least I can do a work around on stage.

Yeah but the mods just generally changed LEAD 1 Red mostly. This one is a low serial number and the first version. I had one with recto mod 16-17 years ago. I remember how the Lead 1 Red on that one absolutely slayed.

Oh there you go! But personally I do think so. I still record my amps because I have the possibility to do so. For me it gives a more personal touch. That doesn't mean the Axe Fx is a bad piece of equipment or that it's not as good if you know how to work it. Or better or worse than a Kemper...

Reamping to two tracks at once...

I'm currently reamping using the USB interface and have a question, is there some way to route to two separate outputs? Like I have the same DI that splits up into two chains of amps and cab-sims. And then in the DAW I have two tracks with the different chains as inputs? Sounds like...

I'm using a Apogee One for all my recordings. On the monitor side I use (I'm such a cheapskate nowadays) Altec Lansing 2.1 computer speakers. But I mostly mix in my Bose Noisecancelling headphones( I have a 7 month year old kid at home so no room for ANY sounds after 7:30 pm.)

So what now-Pod HD stuff

Having the HD300 for a couple of days I can clearly say I'm having problems dialing in a sound that I really REALLY like. Whatever I do I don't get even to the 85% where I can say that this is a sound I could use in a recording situation. The unit is still well worth it's small amount of money...

First impression of the HD 500

Haven't tried the HD500 but as many of you been noticing by now, I own the Pod HD300. While it's pretty easy to setup and make a good preset it still has that Pod character that I've always had a problem with. In the videos I've really tried to do my best with the Pod but it's really hard...
