So I've been incorporating the AX8 into my live rig using 4CM and I got a chance to try it out first time last weekend during a festival in Sweden.
The leads have intelligent harmony thanks to the AX8(even if I fucked up the lead because I changed the way I played it for the new setup, it's like I'm surprising myself over how I'm supposed to play it).
Check it out, you get the idea. Clean sound at 1:45 and harmonized lead at 2:19
Chain is: Washburn Solar 16ETC - AX8(gate) - Randall Satan input - FX loop out - AX8(intelligent harmony/delay) - Randall 4x12 cab w. V30
I controlled the level of the second harmony with a Fractal Expression pedal. I'm also using a RJM Switch gizmo that controls what channel of the amp I'm using.
Distortion and clean sound are from the Randall and are effects from the AX8
