Update from 4.0 to 6.0 issue

Hey all- Recently updated from 4.0 to 6.0 and the majority of my presets are significantly quieter. Is there a known fix for this or am I needing to redo my presets? As I typically do a preset per song type of thing, this represents a ton of work (75+ presets). Any advise is welcome!

FC-6 Sidecar: Total Success

I use my FC-6 as a sidecar for my Police Tribute band- I have multiple delay divisions set up up for instant access- tapout the tempo, select division, off we go!!! Works beautifully, especially since leader constantly calls audibles.

Yep much improved! No sort by weight though is quite the omition- perhaps hasn't been implemented yet. Only way to find weight is to click on item- doesn't show in quick window.

Yep- even with real amps and pedals, first thing we all do is try to find the sound in our head. Buddy of mine has 10+ boutique heads from Blankenship to Bogner and both of us always seem to end up dialing to our sound we like best....

The QSC issue is a known issue that went unresolved for quite some time so I wouldn't be inclined to believe they have fixed the problem. Many many threads on gear page with many many attempts by users to get QSC to resolve to no avail...

Finally got in on the FM9 action but haven't committed to affixing to a board yet. I play in a couple tribute acts with different rigs for each. 1st is for my Rush group where I play "Taurus pedal", 2nd is for Pink Floyd with keys and slide. All instruments routed through FM9. Works in progress...

Setlist Functions via MIDI

PC will increment actual # of preset just fine but setlist has presets in different order then preset #. So set list with songs 3, 15 and 36 will increment as per list where as PC INC makes 3 go to 4 and 15 go to 16 etc therefore defeating set list function itself.

I have a switch on my FC-6 that seems to not engage when pressed on occasion- is it safe to hit it with contact cleaner? Manual says no mechanical contacts to fail so not sure how to proceed. @BryantP

Is Kiesel worth the wait?

22 week wait for a straightforward build. Thing wouldn‘t stay in tune if I used bar so within days of receiving , they wanted it back for warranty repair. Not a pleasant experience.

Prince Computer Blue Intro Flanger

Morningstar MC6 to Mimic FC6 (OMC9?)

I use MC6 to step through presets on the AXE3 and add the extra scenes missing in conjunction with the FC6 I'm using- barely scratching the surface but does what I need. I'd bet you can get a lot of mileage out using MC6 this way.

I can't seem to make the looper work in time with the FC-6- loops are always off time and therefore unusable. I've used many loopers with no timing issues in the past so there must be a setting I'm overlooking somewhere- anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I have always built my own- only way to configure exactly how you want. This one was built along the lines of the previously mentioned Schmidt Array, only $1k cheaper. If you want an easier build, I'd suggest figuring out your overall board size, then finding a mixer case/ pedal bag/ suitcase...

[fixed] FC12 PROBLEM (& FC6)....3 BUTTONS (ALL BUTTONS) not functioning..but light up.

Are you using any MIDI Mapping? I use this feature for Setlist workaround and find if I have mapping enable but try to step through presets by increment, I get random results. Worth checking I suppose...

Things you sold, then bought again.....

Strymon Flint, Suhr Riot and Fulltone OCD have been bought and sold a few times. Any time I have a pedalboard build, these 3 make the cut.

Tremsetter or Tremol-No?

Had both, felt compromised on both. Turning guitar over on a gig for Tremel-no was inconvenient, then the thumbsrcew dropped out on a gig and was lost...I liked the tremsetter better but you could feel it on movements which bugged. Neither awful nor perfect.

How to tactfully decline playing benefits

Group iplay with does numerous benefits and or fund raisers- we always get paid. It's part of the budget of those types of events. I wonder if they ask companies to come cater the event for free?
