I guess i live in a world of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". It's pretty peaceful in this world. Find a tone you love, and play it. Geez, i know why i stayed away from the forum so long. So much damn negativity and rudeness. i'm out.

Then why change to V10? If you are happy with your current setup/tones, and you have so many that it would make it tough to update, why do it? When i was in a band playing regularly, I had about 20 tones, many specific for songs. I would only firmware update when i had a few weeks off so I...

Firmware 10 issues

I don't get it. You did a firmware upgrade, that has taken MONTHS of re-doing all the amps and you are mad that your tones changed? I have a tip that should be stickied. IF YOU LOVE YOUR CURRENT TONES, AND DON'T WANT TO RE-TWEAK DON'T UPGRADE FIRMWARES EVER Just be happy with what you...

Recording the Axe Without Effects

I record how I want it to sound. Why build a sound, then strip it down, only to try to rebuild it with different effects? Seems like a waste of time and energy to me. Like you said, the effects are top notch. I use very little verb in my presets, if any, so that might help, but delay is...

V10 Update

i won't get to it for at least a week and a half due to schedule. by then all the kinks will be worked out, and my update will go super smooth (and hopefully Mark Day will post a lead patch by then :-)!! i always take his basic setup, tweak to my fav's and it sounds killer)

Is it safe to assume there will be no changes to the MFC?

I would wait personally. You NEVER know when something could change. Why waste money fabricating a pedal board that doesn't have any lee-way once your MFC arrives?
