Hoping to get amp/cab captures in Fractal gear in the future, does that appeal to anyone?

I was planning on selling my FM3 in favor of the helix stadium to get profiling capability, but knowing it’s coming to the fractal world means I will hold on to my FM3 and wait for the next gen fractal gear. Super excited for this!

Massive update. I know it's tough, but if we could even get a sniff of a launch timeline, it might prevent a lot of us from going with other solutions (e.g. Stadium) that support both captures and models in the interim. Strongly prefer Fractal's stuff, but need both for a variety of reasons.

10 years ago Cliff said we'll get a plugin then changed his mind so that means nothing he says is true now ? FAS has always underpromised and overdelivered. A little while ago someone came to the forum DEMANDING more bass models, very rude tone. People commented on their tone and behavior but did agree that new bass models and pedals would be welcome. Cliff said the guy was an AH but he'll see what he could do. Next patch was a bass patch. I like this style more than all the other companies' sterile marketing/PR campaigns. So what if the plugin didn't end up being a thing ? Could be a thousand reasons.

I doubt you'll get anything until they've crossed every T and dotted every I and are 100% ready to go.
 
Fly in my ointment, for this enhancement and the other groundbreaking ones sure to come, is that I'll be hard pressed to come up with $3k or so to afford one.

It's lucky I'm having big fun w my Axe 3 :)
 
Hopefully in 2026 there will be a new generation of Fractal. 😍 The NAM technology is actually a very accurate copy of the amplifier. How easy it would be to open the NAM block and use Fractal effects before or after.

Yes for people without amps sifting through a pile of rando settings amp captures vs. just grabbing a baked in amp model that is already perfection would be so much easier.
 
didnt someone share a job posting they had for a NAM related position a little while back?

Hopefully this leads to more players joining the fractal community :)
 
I stopped GASing with my recent fm3 turbo purchase but here we go again. Good news is no matter what device you rock if you invest the time it will sound good. I still see huge bands use mk1 kempers with great results.
 
Hopefully both the white-box and profiling related plates can keep spinning. Great to hear next gen is approaching
