I was on the last dyna cab software and running software 27 on the axe and on axe edit I update it every time one comes through. When I opened axe edit on my computer an update came through, so I did that update. Then I opened fractal bot from axe edit and it came up with 3 updates, firmware27.01, usb update and dyna cab. I did the firmware first then the usb one then dyna cab . I'll try again on a later date .From the hardware or from the editor?
What version of the editor?
What firmware version were you on previously?
Do you have the correct current version of DynaCabs installed?
I've had problems with dyna cabs too, went back to 27.00 and up again, went down to dynas 1.05 and up again...to no avail.I was on the last dyna cab software and running software 27 on the axe and on axe edit I update it every time one comes through. Is there an issue with the tuner use offset on/off switch? I updates from 27 to 27.01 and suddenly my tuning was wrong. I still had some offset values in from past but the use offset switch was off. I removed the values and everything is fine again. Seams, that use offset off is not working.
I think the offset got turned off after this firmware update. I had it on and noticed it switched to off afterward. Seems to work here after turning it on. I also had the impression that with F27.00 I was tuning better than with 27.01.I think the offset got turned off after this firmware update. I had it on and noticed it switched to off afterward. Seems to work here after turning it on. Turning off works here for me.
I had the same impression also after removing all offset values (set to zero) and offset switch to Off (it was never on). Something changed, or? Better return to tuner code of 27.00? But I like the color change feature.I also had the impression that with F27.00 I was tuning better than with 27.01.
To fix this, do I have to turn the offset switch on and off again?
I was saying that I had offsets on prior to these firmware updates. They were off when I looked this morning. It could have happened a while back though as I have not changed the offsets for some time. Not saying anything had to be turned off and on to work.I also had the impression that with F27.00 I was tuning better than with 27.01.
To fix this, do I have to turn the offset switch on and off again?
If some changes have been made, intentionally, to the tuning behavior it would have been noted in the release notes. The question is whether the tuner still works as perfectly as with the 27.00. Is was always good but with 27.00 better than before. Only FAS knows if the tune behavior code changed.
the rest sounds brilliant as always. To avoid any potential conclusion, the problem with Block Type not being displayed is in the field under the Channels. The In, Drive, Amp, etc... blocks in the presets are labeled. Just can't see or change the Type of Drive, Amp, etc...BUG?
After installing firmware V27.01 and Axe Edit III V1.14.03, so far I have found 2 serious problems for editing my presets:
1) For all Blocks, the Type field is blank.
2) In the Amp Blocks, under Ideal, the Boost, Cut, Fat, and Bright switches are grayed out and can't be toggled.
Has anyone else seen/ reported these issues?

Can you please try theBUG?

Refresh after new firmware... in Axe-Edit and let us know if that fixes the problem?I had this, Refresh After New Firmware fixed it. First time I have ever had to do it.... think it was caused by the USB firmware update and using FractalBot through Axe Edit because I used to use FractalBot standaloneBUG?

YES!!! That worked - thank you very much! As Pagzy said, I never had to do this before, so wasn't even aware of the Refresh tool. All is well now.Can you please try theRefresh after new firmware...in Axe-Edit and let us know if that fixes the problem?
