Thanks! Yes, it does have a Rorshach (sp?) Test vibe, dunnit? This guitar body could be used in a psychological test. I see a few wild animals!
Oh, I love the guitar body! Can’t wait to see final build!
Yeah! It does! Thanks! Yes, it does have a Rorshach (sp?) Test vibe, dunnit?
Late to the game, but I just saw this. It’s almost a shame to put a bridge on it. Look closely, and you’ll see Hobbes’ face on the right.
Accumulating parts for a project....
Funny that he's actually got a guitar called HobbesLate to the game, but I just saw this. It’s almost a shame to put a bridge on it. Look closely, and you’ll see Hobbes’ face on the right.
Final assembly is a pretty long way off, so we'll see.Very nice body.
But I don't like these small pickup rings for Tele neck pickups. I would first try how you like it with the neck pickup screwed directly to the body. IMO this would look better.
For my personal tastes, I agree. For some reason, pickup rings on single coils just look wrong... But at least this one has some "character" to it.Very nice body.

Guitar's name is "Rory", methinks....
All nice stuff.
Nocaster short knobs, Rutters jack socket cup, Rutters ferrules for the string ends, Rutters fancy grippy switch tippy, and a Rutters bridge....
