psychotic memories

I play guitar and bass. The way I am looking at it, I could have guitar in input 1 and bass in input 2, feed the left outputs to the Matrix inputs (output 1 to input a and output 2 to input b) and the right outputs to my sound card for recording.
I have a few questions before I put down the 4100- Euro. (Axe-Fx II XL+ 2600- / MFC-101 MK III Foot Controller 800- / MATRIX GT1000FX-2u 700- ).

- Has the looper been improved? My current Ditto looper pedal has a 5 minute "loop time" while according to the Wiki the Axe-FX has a 60 second "loop time".
- Is there a dedicated send / receive in the works? The current layout eats up 2 1/4 jacks that could be plugged into the DAW for example.
- Why isn't there a XLR output for OUTPUT 2?
- Is the MFC-101 MK III Foot Controller able to be programmed so a bank could control the DAW by MIDI while not making changes to the Axe-FX unit itself?
- Why isn't the MFC-Edit - Editor for the MFC-101 included with the MFC-101 MK III Foot Controller? The Axe-Edit doesn't cost anything.
- Has the bass guitar support improved? I've been doing some reading and according to a lot of replies, bass players are a nuisance when it comes to asking for more than the Ampeg SVT.
