What are you listening to right now?

If you like Rock and haven't discovered The Struts, then you need to take a listen. Here's "Roll Up" from their debut in 2014. Definitely a strong Queen influence.

On kick of The Struts lately. Really liking this band's vibe. Here's "Primadonna Like Me Tonight" from 2018. Can't get over what this band does with mostly one guitar, bass, drums, and vocalist.

Check out Alice Cooper throwing knives. ;)

Got to see and hear Bill Frisell trio as well as John Scofield with Snarky Puppy at the Miami Beach bandshell yesterday. Bill and John didn’t play together which was a bummer but it was amazing to see them on the same night. Youssou Ndour also showed up and sounded incredible.

Bill Bailey never ceases to amaze. As a musician, comedian, and amazing human being.

After watching that one I went back to review old ones

I've got all his specials/shows and rewatch them often, it just never gets old. I hope he lives forever. I know he won't, but I sure hope he could.
(Oh, and whenever he's on a panel show, I know I'm in for a quality time.)

He died at the age of 52. Luckily, he is not 52 anymore. Now he is 60 and alive.

Story of the time when he was dead at 2:50

Here's the whole playlist on YouTube (maybe some-a-youse goombahs remember the 2nd track "Wise Guy", check it out!):

But really, Joe Pesci's singing and rapping are a fagiolo (check out "How Do You Like Me So Far") and the (sometimes appropriately altered) lyrics are a hoot.
It includes some pretty well-known musicians, too, like Blue Lou Marini and Tom Malone... Che figata! There's even a Louis Prima number on there (Robbie Hood).

Did you know that he was a lounge singer back in the day, before joining Joey Dee (Joseph DiNicola) and the Starliters on guitar? He left to pursue acting before they got their first record contract - with Roulette Records! Narrow escape...

I. LOVE. THIS. ALBUM!!! 😍 (Okay, "Twenty-One" is creepy, but I suppose it's appropriate for the character, I guess?)

I like to have a physical copy of my music. Still a fan of CDs.
