What are you listening to right now?

Man, I got a lot of catching up to do here... but I've been listening to lots and lots of Brahms (all the symphonies, some piano/string concertos and quartets, sonatas, etc pp).

And so have my neighbors. :loudspeaker: Whether they want to or not. 😈🧌 Huuaahahahahaaaar! Blasting through my 1032Cs at 'exciting and enthusiastic' volume all through the night. Twas 6:00 am today, when I finally took a brief yet equally loud Prof. Longhair excursion, sipping Cuba Libres to "Rum and Coca-Cola". Man, that whistling on some tracks could slice a loaf of bread for you, if you held it up to the speakers.

Also a little bit of Elgar, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff and Beethoven. Found out I greatly prefer Brahms to Ludo van B. My dad was big on the classics, but in my childhood/youth I did whatever I could to evade 'em, outside of piano practice, where I had no say in what I wanted to learn.

(Edit: For a bit of context - my neighbors left, right and below have almost constantly been spending a couple hours a day home-improving and rennovating, drilling, hammering, sawing and loudly trampling through/shouting in the stairwell for MONTHS! Whenever I think they're done, a couple days later - well, you get the picture. I thought I'd return the favor. Also, I'm working evenings/nights and they start as early as 7:30 am, sometimes. Which is illegal here.)

"Runs from another dimension" is what I get when I eat too much garlic or mustard. Arousing widespread panic in my peers and unrelated bystanders alike. So I gotta check that out.

Soloway is a guy over at The Gear Page, that started the same titled thread over a decade ago.

I can't recommend that place though. Cork sniffing country, where people plunk down 10 grand for a Two Rock Classic Reverb, to play in a bedroom.
