Wish Transfer Level or Transfer Device selection in Axe Edit

I have an idea for a new feature for axe edit. I have an Axe FX 3 that I use at home and am considering getting an FM9 to take with me when I play away from home. I want an easy way to be sure the presets I am creating will successfully transfer to the FM9. It would be great if within Axe Edit, there was a way to set the "Transfer Level" or "Transfer Device" so that Axe Edit for Axe FX 3 would only allow blocks to be added that can be transferred to the unit selected. Ideally, CPU usage for that device would also be shown.

My suggestion:

Create your presets on the FM9.
This way you can be absolutely certain they will run on FM9.

After this step you can transfer the preset to Fx3 and tweak the parameters in Fx3 according to your wishes.

These tweaked presets you can transfer back to FM9 and be certain they will work.

Without a lot of complicated work I don't really see this as something that is feasible.

Remember that the editor is a "client" and the hardware is a "server".

This would really require a single "unified" editor (that could talk to Axe Fx, FM9 and FM3) to work, I think.

And even then it would require to be communicating with each device at the same time.

The suggestion above is the best approach...

It's been a while since I had either of the FM units, but IIRC the FM9 can load presets exported from the FM3, and the AxeFX III can load presets exported from either the FM3 or the FM9.

All devices can exchange presets via the editor... Limited of course by the grid dimensions and block types/counts supported by each.
