Isn’t this an opinion in and of itself tho? 😂
Indeed, but the gif introduces some humor

I didn't say opinions are bad. I said attachment to opinions is bad, and sense of humor is a kind of antidote.

I support your statement. The concept of the Axe Fx is really bulletproof and their demonstrated dedication to utmost quality is still the reason why I keep on using their products.

All their competitors rely on traditional distribution channels, who also have a strong interest in pushing sales. That leads to an overwhelming amount of financially dependent content creators advertising their products. And that’s a pretty flawed situation.

I did eventually order a competitor’s product due to the continuing online praising, but once I started working with it, I immediately knew why I initially ordered the Axe Fx II and III as my main device.
Reminds me of my experience with the Helix back in 2013 or so. To me, even before the many FAS firmware updates, there was a noticeable difference in tone between the two (I had an AxeFXII at the time). I just didn't gel with the Helix. Plus Helix was much less tweakable, had many fewer amps, and had many fewer firmware updates. I sold the Helix and didn't look back. Not meaning to dis the Helix at all. It works great for some folks and that's cool. It just wasn't best for me.

The idea of a nanoFM would be great. But there’s a very hard choice when it comes to reduce the FX. People are always expecting to use their product directly out of the box. Maybe the best approach is to do the UAFX approach, with gate-amp-pa-cab(mic) and a room effect.

I know that this ISN'T the case for this upcoming product but I would love to see a Quad Cortex form factor device from Fractal. Like - they don't need to make it capture, or change anything sonically really (their stuff already sounds the best). But to have 10 buttons in a device the size of an FM3, plus a touch screen? I'd gladly pay whatever for that. Doesn't even need more DSP (though, I'll take it if they're offering lol). I don't care about rotary knobs either. Actually - just make the FM3 have a touch screen and 7 more buttons hahah. Bank up/down, tap (hold for tuner) and then 7 buttons for scenes in the one preset. And yes, I know you could technically just make a bunch of presets now that it's gapless - but it would be cool to not have to bank up/down to get to a 4th scene.

I really hope for a "FM1".
Small pedal, one switch to change between two presets/amps, USB-C-Interface, Bluetooth, FX Loop and maybe enough power for 2-3 additional FX-Blocks on a small 4x6 grid.

Or finally a FAS USB Wireless Stick for the FM3 with smartphone app and/or desktop editor support.

FAS flycapture

Form factor of the flyrig, perfect for backup or rehearsals.
Little box to capture tones from your fm/axe products.
No screen
5 switches (same customization possible as the fm)
Bluetooth and official app
Midi
2 exp pedal

499$

I like chocolate coins! Hey maybe Fractalnis going to start putting smart chocolate coins in all their deliveries. Smart chocolate coins all the latest firmware.
G66 (Europe) did that for many years :p. Buy a FAS product and get it delivered with chocolate. Not anymore though.

I would add, rechargeable battery. If say PG can do it with the spark mini, why not fractal.
