100%Lots of people complaining that the solo was out of sync or lacked structure, that’s actually the reason I liked it , it wasn’t quantized and perfectly on beat , it’s was loose and unpredictable
The song really sounds like a Nickelback song in terms of tone and riff and then the solo is very Nuno at heart which goes it back to Extreme roots. I don’t mind the song but I honestly think if it had Nunos signature tone it would have been better.Lots of people complaining that the solo was out of sync or lacked structure, that’s actually the reason I liked it , it wasn’t quantized and perfectly on beat , it’s was loose and unpredictable
And i agree Nuno is the closest to EVH in terms of that energy
Iirc EVH didn’t know how to count and never used a click he just felt it and went for it
To me this was refreshing

Nunos effects are generally all boss so it’s likely one of their synth listen to the lead settings in the vid belowI'm in love with the synth sound in the end of the solo but don't have even a slightest idea how to recreate it
I think it's just an octave-up pitch shifter added in post. Place pitch block after cab block for similar synthy/chipmunky sound.I'm in love with the synth sound in the end of the solo but don't have even a slightest idea how to recreate it
