I don't see it re-reading the cabs, only re-reading the presets in Axe III Edit, however, the preset re-reading seems to have slowed down quite a bit.Firmware 17 is a disaster! Every time you turn the axe unit on it re-reads all the cabs and such like you are doing a refresh. Also, the cpu usage is off the scale on some presets now - full for no reason. Anyhow, must simply be a lemon firmware, it happens on occasion
yeah presets, and wow, its like its now got a 1987 dsp in it. lol wonder why a new turbo axe fx 3 was released. did they know something we didnt? firmware 17 sucks the ass out of of the dsp maybe?I don't see it re-reading the cabs, only re-reading the presets in Axe III Edit, however, the preset re-reading seems to have slowed down quite a bit.

hey dont worry, im sure it will be fixed soon. grow some nuts man or get yourself injected, im sure that will sort the nuts out. hahaha
No, fix the software if there is a problem. I'm not in the slightest bit interested in hardware until Axe 4.TURBO to the rescue!
This! There's no reason for existing functionality to require more CPU, so I'm not worried. I'll just hold off on upgrading until it's fixed.I'm sure Cliff will identify and fix any issues, if the last 10 years of continuous support and fixes are anything to go by.

Not if there were no changes made to it....I read the release notes.there's all kinds of reasons for existing functionality to require more CPU, all the best reasons too!
