What I noticed is that the CPU-meter on the Axe itself shows a lower cpu-usage than Axe-edit does. The spikes in usage are not seen on the device itself here.

Same here, but we all gotta realize there will be improvements that will only be reliably functional or even possible on the newest, if not unreleased hardware.

Cliff mentioned in an earlier post that the next FW will be more CPU-efficent…so patience.
