Is there a way to simulate and electric sitar sound in FM9?

i don't know if this will run on the FM9. maybe someone who has a III and a 9 can try it and see if it needs adapting. maybe @2112 if you have time, bro?

use the gtrbody ir in the cab slots panned left and right

i did have a recording of it somewhere, i'll look for it

ps - it'll be a bit "wet" for what you need, as is

The preset is really cool @simeon, thank you.

A quick line with three tracks , one normal guitar, two with the sitar patch, one normal and one an octave up.

 
I do have a very nice JTV69S Variax which has a great sitar model, but I don't want to gig with that Variax anymore, mostly because I want to use my nicer guitars.
 
nobody mentioned the ehx ravish sitar pedal?

edit: just went and looked at a demo. man, that thing does not sound good...

That's exactly what I was hoping when I saw this thread title, because we just added that song to the wedding band repertoire. I was also able to add an amp, cab, and multiplexer to it without going over 72%, so I could easily switch between the sitar and normal guitar sound.

Yeah... one of these days I'll take the time to set up setlists and songs, but this is not that day.
