Information About The AxeFX II

That lead patch you used at 5:20 is killer! mind sharing? haha

what you heard in that clip all came from a single preset..
there's a lot of modifier stuff going on to control the tone transitions...
so in that one you have a riffing tone, a soloing tone, the riffing tone morphs to a synth-like tone [and you can punch in a +8ve/-8ve shifter], and the soloing tone morphs to clean..

this is a link to all of my studio presets
note these were created and recorded in fw7.0
the 9.02 version of these presets have had a few minor tweaks..
when the new AE comes out, I'll be better equipped to add some refinements I want to do..
when these are sorted I'll post up all the newer versions

Yeah, Your preset post sold me on it..

Wow.. That was seriously impressive.

wow... and you've just blown me away... how cool is that....
seriously... I think this is awesome.... thanks.... loads..

if you go here

you'll be able to find more clips of my presets
there's easy to find cos they're titled Riff/Solo and Clean/Solo

all of my presets are 'multi-functional' and contain a rhythm tone [either riffing or clean] and a soloing tone
also, you'll hear the rhythm and soloing tones have a 'tone morphing' capability that either cleans a dirty tone, or takes it to a synth-like tone
my preset creation ethos is to build a preset for a 'type of song' or in some cases for a specific song..
the general idea being to stay within a single preset for the entire song [where possible]..
this way you get the most seamless and instantaneous transitions between tones..

this COULD HONESTLY be the last multi-effect preamp unit you ever purchase...

I'd have to go with this too...

that is, until FAS dream up their next masterpiece..

I'm totally sold on the Axe now...
enough so that the only logical place to go from here is the next model if / when that happens..

and until then, my next guitar related GAS will no doubt be another Axe-II
