Fractal Audio AMP models: 5F1 Tweed and 5F1 Tweed EC (Fender Champ and Vibro-Champ)

gread idea, yek!

the videos show that not every amp works with each player - I think only the last vids shows a useful sound.

This model is one of the reasons why the Cut control in the Amp Block needs a modifier.

Thank you Yek! Please do keep this going when you can.

My .02. This is an awesome idea for a dedicated section on the forum for all those using the amp models. If they could all be in one location, and everybody refrain from short accolade posts and restrict themselves to only adding more info, like how they are using the amp, settings, presets, soundclips and videos and any other relevant info to yek's initial post for each amp.

I would certainly find it incredibly useful to consult.

Digging these threads - after a 30 year hiatus from playing (guitar) and never really getting into "classic/vintage" amps, I'm learning a ton here, which is one of my favorite things to do. Thanks for this; please keep 'em coming!

Good post but I feel it's "the right thing to do" to thank someone for contributing something useful. So perhaps just a simple thank you without any embellishment would be cool and really wouldn't hinder using the info. I am talking mainly about fellow forumites who do this work for, well, us.....Just MHO of course.

Firmware Quantum 8 adds a model of Fender's Eric Clapton (EC) Vibro-Champ. It's the 2011 reissue of the 5F1 Champ, part of the Fender's Eric Clapton Series.

See specifications in the OP. The reissue has a bias tremolo, a Weber 8" Alnico speaker and a power soak.

[EDIT:]
Fractal Audio: "The circuit is slightly different than the original 5F1. It has cathode bypass caps giving it more gain."

Turn it up for raunchy, thick mid-range overdrive.

Thank you Yek! Great info.
Unfortunately it reminds me of my old trusted and rotten 64 blackface vibrochamp which I - gulp - sold about 10 years ago. I must have lost my mind. This would have been the ideal amp to get old with. It farts out when under pressure? So will I one day. Makes a nice couple.
