Ok, did not mean MD-BT01 was connected (only paired) and does show up in the bluetooth settings and when I do try and connect there it gives the message "An app is needed to use this device." etc. Am assuming that the FracPad is that app in this case. However, with this in mind the FracPad does not connect and shows no 'bluetooth button' but does show and work as in the case the my windows 11 laptop. I am using an android tablet so have no real way of using the MD-BT01 utility (as only for IOS devices). I am assuming that you developed a bluetooth connection app/code within the FracPad to connect with both IOS and Android devices. However in my case, it does not work without a 3rd party midi connect app and then is somewhat buggy. Not sure where the issue lies but probably going to abandon the efforts for now. Thanks for your suggestions, and can say that the wireless bluetooth function probably works best on IOS devices as the interfaces maybe more compatible etc.
