Software FracPad III - iOS/Android/Mac/Win Editor for the Axe-Fx II/XL/XL+, AX8/FX8, Axe-Fx III and FM3/FM9

Third party software for Fractal Audio products.
I recently purchased your app mainly for the AX8. I was able to make a complete backup of everything, but when I try to restore the system data, it says that it cannot open it yet.

It’s a bit frustrating because the system data is precisely what I need to restore for safety reasons, as the AX8 keeps losing its configuration and I’m not sure why.

Thanks

I'll remove this function as it only works on AxeFx

I believe the AX8 has a battery. If that dies then you lose your settings...

Hi
If you already have FracPad III, you don't need another license, only if you still use the Fracpad 1.xx.
For the Axefx III, you can connect via usb directly or via a yamaha md-bt01 / cme widi for Bluetooth operating.
For the FM3, you'll need an usb midi adapter like Roland um-one for wired operating, or a yamaha md-bt01 / cme widi for Bluetooth operating

Kind regards,
Alex
Just purchased the Android pro version of Fracpad III (#233067818 - doubt I will need it's extra features but I wanted to support you efforts) ;~)) I was wondering about something I read in another thread about the FM3 putting out too much power and over heating the CME WIDI Master Bluetooth. Do you know if this is still an issue? Does the Yamaha NOT have the same issue? Going to be running my new FM3 via Android (and sometimes Windows) device(s) and don't want to get a Bluetooth item that is going to overheat, so any input appreciated! Thanks for all you do here at the Fractal community ;~))

The fix requires a physical change to the hardware. That hasn’t changed as far as I am aware.

I believe the WIDI is the only one I have seen reported with this issue, but could be others - I don’t recall.
